Marvin spent 15 years in French mass retail and FMCG at sales director level before building and operating his own e-commerce stores. He tests every tool he recommends on real shops, not from a product page.
Editorial independence
SiftedTools earns revenue through affiliate links. This never influences rankings. Several top-ranked tools (ChatGPT, Claude) have no affiliate program at all. Our methodology explains how we test and rank.

The founder and primary author is Marvin Munos, a former sales director in mass retail and FMCG, e-commerce store operator, and author of every comparison published on the site.
Why was SiftedTools created?
Because most AI tool comparison sites for e-commerce are written by content writers who have never run a store. The criteria they evaluate don't match the real constraints of an operator. Marvin created SiftedTools to publish editorial verdicts from tests on his own stores, using the criteria a real e-commerce operator would use.
How does SiftedTools make money?
Through affiliate links to the tools we recommend. When you click one of our links and subscribe, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. No brand can pay for a better ranking, and several tools at the top of our rankings have no affiliate program at all. Details in our methodology.
